The Team:

Pardees Safizadeh (@pardees) - Director of Social Media - is a social media enthusiast in love with all kinds of social networks. Pardees graduated from Boston College in May 2010 with a degree in Communications and Theater. During the day she works at Harron and Associates, a non-profit Public Relations firm in Boston, as an account executive. Pardees has just stumbled into the Boston entrepreneurship community and plans to stay here for a while. You'll be able to find her at upcoming DartBoston events.
 

Paul Hlatky (@PaulHlatky) - Director of Community and Student Relations - is one of the few comedians interested in marketing, business development and technology. Originally from Queens he moved to Boston to study Marketing, Information Systems and Philosophy at Boston University. He’s worked with start ups since he was sophomore in college and developed a passion for the culture and lifestyle. He’s always excited to meet for coffee and connect with anyone with similar interests to cultivate a better environment for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Seth Viebrock (@sethviebrock) - Lead Developer - is an experienced web developer with a passion for entrepreneurship. As a former start-up CTO, business owner at Seth Orion Tech, and free education activist at excotc.org, he enjoys bringing his development skills to a community such as that of Greenhorn Connect. Seth graduated from Macalester College with a Bachelor's in Economics, and lives in Minneapolis, MN, where he hopes to engage the local tech and start-up community with some of the information and vigor he finds on this site.

The Founders: 

Ashkan Afkhami

Ashkan Afkhami has been working within the technology and finance industry for the past five years; graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Finance with a minor in Technological Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University. He is now enrolled in the Masters of Technological Entrepreneurship program at Northeastern and is employed at Hercules Technology Growth Capital. Additionally, Ashkan is the CEO and Founder of Inter-Disciplinary Entrepreneurship Accelerator which is a student-run organization that provides business development services and funding for Entrepreneurs, designed to accelerate the progression of their ideas and ventures.

Jason Evanish (@Evanish) is a startup junkie obsessed with how to build great web startups and make the Boston startup community the best it can be.  He spent the last year+ as customer development manager at oneforty in addition to maintaining an active role in the startup community. He left in April 2011 to set out to start a company of his own. Look for Jason in his trademark green shirts out at startup events.

Previously, Jason graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering. He returned to Northeastern for his Master's in Technological Entrepreneurship, graduating in August of 2009.  Upon graduation, he began navigating the Boston startup community, which led to the creation of Greenhorn Connect.  You can learn more about him on his linkedin profile by clicking here.
