Lean Startup Challenge LAUNCH!
Description: Lean Startup Challenge is back this fall for it's second year! Startups join a 4 week challenge to keep Lean and compete for $20,000 in cash and prizes to be split between the top 3 winners. Join us to kick off this year's competition and get a chance to learn more about Lean Startups from Prof. Tom Eisenmann of the Harvard Business School. Also, get a chance to meet this year's teams and find out what they will be doing to build their businesses during the 4 week challenge.

Boston Festival of Indie Games
Description: Boston Indies, a community of dedicated independent game developers in Massachusetts, and MIT Game Lab presents the Boston Festival of Indie Games, a celebration of independent games made in the New England area. Boston Festival of Indie Games is focused on creating an intersection between community, academic and independent interests in game play.

GE Garages at CollegeFest
Description: Students can take a break from studying to custom laser cut their laptop, mold a case for their iPhone, or help weld bike racks for campus. There are also lots of giveaways and special prizes each day. Launched at SouthxSouthwest earlier this year, GE Garages is a hands-on “pop-up lab,” giving students a chance to discover modern prototyping, out-of-the-box manufacturing processes, while collaborating in hands-on workshops, participating in specialized manufacturing training and education – and learning from local Boston technologists.
