When people make everyday choices about how to spend their time and money, the biggest influencers on those choices are usually close friends and “trusted experts.” These trusted experts are professional tastemakers, such as movie critics, the “staff picks” table at the local book or movie store, etc. 

Despite the expansion of the Internet and its ability to connect us to vast realms of information, people rely more on the tastes of these close friends and trusted experts today than they did 20 years ago. 

Our vision is to create the place where people discover and share what they love with the small circles of people they know and trust.

PopCircle is an early-stage, seed-funded startup in the Boston area that is developing an innovative new social media service, led by a team of smart, committed and experienced Internet vets.
