September was a great month. All the students came back to school and the startup scene started rolling again. But September is nothing compared to October! With over 200 events thanks to Future M, BREW Boston, and Boston event planners, it's hard to decide which ones to go to! Don't worry--we've got your backs! We made a special countdown for this special month. We're going to count down the top 5 events for Future M, the top 5 events for BREW Boston, and the top 5 events for the startup scene in general. Grab a pen and paper, and get ready to take some notes!

Future M
#5 : Cust Dev the 2nd decade

#5: MassTLC unConference
• Description: Four generations of entrepreneurs will gather with the focus on driving innovation in the region. • The agenda is formed organically by all attendees the day of the event. No podiums. No stages. Just small interactive sessions where everyone gets to know each other by gathering around areas of common interest. • Location: Pre Party Wed at Microsoft -#4: New England Startup Weekend
• Description: Start-up Weekend, will bring together students and tech professionals for 54 hours of idea generation, prototype building, and business planning.
• We'll have university students from 6 universities -- #3: Mass Innovation Nights (this month with MassChallenge open house!)
• Description: Held once a month:
– Registration and networking at 6:00 p.m.
– Presentations start showing at 7:00 p.m.
– Experts Corner team has one-on-one conversations w start-ups/ entrepreneurs
– After-party at a nearby bar at 8:30 p.m.

• Description: Selected entrepreneurs and innovators stand at a mic and tell a story about one of their startup adventures.
