Interested in helping Students/Young Entrepreneurs? See the results of our survey

In the startup ecosystem there is a lot of ongoing discussion of how to better inspire, motivate and engage young people in New England. Everyone would love for more of the best and brightest to consider entrepreneurship and hopefully either join a startup or start their own.

We believe the best way to learn is by asking those that are already here, so we asked student entrepreneurs and recent graduates of the past couple of years to take this survey to help us learn what's working, what's not and what else we should try to best engage our young population.  In total 22 students from 9 universities responded with detailed comments.

You can see the survey here.

You can see the results here in two parts:

Part I - Themes

Part II - Barriers & Proposed Solutions

As the city's program, OneIn3 Boston, so aptly named themselves, 1/3rd of our city's population are young people. We hope this survey and its results can help us all figure out what else we can do to help bring out more of that talent. We're happy to make the results available to all those interested.
