TiE Challenge will offer first-time entrepreneurs 2-for-1 opportunity - help from top Boston entrepreneurs AND access to capital. 
 
Five winning companies will be chosen for 9 month in-depth startup accelerator program run by experienced entrepreneurs, many of whom have taken companies public and/or had multi-billion dollar exits. Winning companies will also have an opportunity to be considered by TiE-Angels and syndicates for a potential investment of up to $1M. 
 
Winners will be provided a $5000 cash award, a shared office space in the heart of Cambridge (Kendall Square) and invited to participate in regular networking events with experienced entrepreneurs at the TiE office in Kendall Square. Two advisors (matched with the teams based on stage, industry and market) will dedicate time to each team for the duration of the program.
