Northeastern University: IDEA (Inter-Disciplinary Entrepreneurial Accelerator)
* The Inter-Disciplinary Entrepreneurship Accelerator (IDEA) is a student created and run organization at Northeastern University that helps other students organically create, develop, and accelerate their own business objectives. IDEA provides tailored services for entrepreneurial students which are designed to accelerate the development of their business ideas.
* Throughout the university there are students developing venture ideas as well as students with specific skills and talents that start-up company’s need. IDEA strives to aid all of these students with its resources to see their ideas come to fruition. IDEA also works closely with the Directors of Co-op from each college to allow students to use their co-op time experience to work on their developing ventures.

IDEA is designed to benefit students across Northeastern University in each college and each major. Specifically, IDEA looks to help any students who are interested in developing their own business plan as well as connecting students with specific skills and talents with start-up ventures that need their help.
Ventures: Students who are in the process of developing a specific business idea, recruiting a team to pursue their vision, refining a business plan, or developing a structured timeline of key milestones.
Talent: Students who are developing skills and talents that start-up companies require. Students in this category typically study web design, accounting, law, marketing, engineering, science, and a range of other disciplines that entrepreneurs seek when developing their business ideas.
Coaches: Students who are experts in a specific field and would like to work with the student teams. Coaches join teams based on their own discretion.
