A sheer amount of companies, resources, talent, and networking opportunities.

GH: What have you learned from Boston area startups?

The allure of Kendall Square is riveting. However, for many startups, it is not financially feasible to be there.

GH: What is the Boston ecosystem lacking from your perspective?

Affordable lab space and also the elitist atmosphere, which in turn leads to many great ideas not being incubated in the Boston area, but elsewhere.

GH: What’s the best/worst piece of advice you were given along the way?

Best advice: To spearhead the Biotech/Pharma/Medical industries in places not named Cambridge, local support is crucial.

Worst advice: Everyone wants to be in Kendall Square.

GH: What was the best thing that happened to you last year?

Mansfield Bio-Incubator’s Grand Opening drew more than 100 people, including Jay Ash, the State Secretary.

GH: What does the future hold for the MA innovation economy?

To sustain itself, the MA innovation economy needs to continue spreading across the state.

GH: What does the future hold for the Mansfield Bio Incubator?
