March 30th at 6:30pm: Students & Startups Dinners
Understanding the importance of leveraging Boston’s unique entrepreneurial ecosystem for both students and startups, Greenhorn Connect and these colleges and universities – Babson, Tufts, Wentworth, Boston University, Northeastern, UMASS, Suffolk and Brandeis – have teamed up to create semesterly invitation only student dinners.
During this unique opportunity, startups will be able to share their invaluable experience and advice with students. An evening of fine dinning and stimulating conversation, Greenhorn dinners give students the opportunity to access all they need to know about the startup scene in Boston from an insider’s perspective.
Who are the students?
Six students – graduate and undergraduate students of any major – from each of the participating universities will be hand-picked to attend the dinners from the list of applicants.
Cost of the Dinners
The participating schools have covered the cost of the dinner for the students. As a participating company you will be required to cover the cost of your own food – $50 per person.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for early – mid stage startups that want to connect with the student community. These dinners are about having casual conversation about your company, being an entrepreneur in Boston, and the general startup life. Our goal is to bring companies in that will inspire the students and help expose them to the exhilarating world of startups. We want to keep entrepreneurial students working and thriving in Boston post graduation.
What’s in it for your company?
Aside from the good karma points of giving back to the community, these dinners are a great way to expose your company to entrepreneurial potential future interns and employees who might not have thought of working for you until the dinner.
