The purpose of the e-tower is to be a community of entrepreneurs that stimulates the development and implementation of business ideas. We believe that by uniting together student entrepreneurs a new venue for creative thinking has emerged on campus.

Our Vision

The e-tower is a community for student entrepreneurs at Babson College who are actively developing business plans and running companies. The purpose of the e-tower is to unite 21 student entrepreneurs and immerse them in an innovative, high-energy environment that promotes the creation, evolution, and implementation of business ideas. By merging the spirit of a community with the centralized office resources of a traditional business hatchery, we hope to create a platform for entrepreneurship that harnesses the pioneering spirit of the business leaders of tomorrow.

Community Resources

Located on the 2nd Floor of Van Winkle C, the 21 student entrepreneurs living in e-tower have many of the resources available in a traditional business hatchery as well as all the amenities of a prosperous college community. Our central office has a server, printer, copier, scanner, and fax machine. We also have a large common living room for meetings, presentations, and brainstorming sessions as well as a common kitchen and dining area.

The Environment

Not only are we a community of students who work hard and are interested in entrepreneurship but we also have fun together. We go hiking, watch movies, party together, play paintball and do many other fun activities. We believe that working hard entitles you to play hard as well. A recent example would be our great Spring Break Trip to Zanesville, Ohio where we worked hard on our e-tower strategic plan but at the same time we had a lot of fun together.

Each of our goals as an organization is achieved by striving to complete successfully each of the specific items detailed in our yearly action plan. This action plan is discussed and approved separate from the e-tower's contract by the Community Manager and the Assistant Director of Campus Life.
