Last night, the Vilna Shul hosted an amazing "fireside chat" on being a founder and entrepreneur. HBS Associate Professor Noam Wasserman led a panel discussion with a trio of renowned local entrepreneurs: Brian Halligan, (Founder and CEO of Hubspot), Pito Salas, (Co-Founder and CTO of eRoom, Founder of BlogBridge and inventor of the pivot table), and Leah Busque, (Founder and CEO of RunMyErrand). As manager of Boston Young Entrepreneurs and its parent organization ONEin3 Boston, I am tasked with matching young people with needs to organizations with the resources to address those needs. Often, and particularly in the entrepreneurial world, those resources hide in plain sight.

The Revolution is Now

Reports of the demise of entrepreneurship in Boston have been greatly exaggerated; it’s actually a great time to be an entrepreneur of any age in Boston. Boston has had to reinvent itself 9 times in its history and is likely in the process of a 10th renaissance. So much is changing for the better right before our eyes:
